Old Baker Farm

It was the Cotton Pickin' Celebration at Old Baker Farm.  We decided to go.  It turned out to be a little cold that day, but we bundled up and had a great time.  We started off with the corn maze.  Our fiends Kara and Cynthia went with us.

Cynthia had never ridden a horse, so we gladly sent her off on her first horse ride.  She loved it.

This was the first time David and Victoria had seen a horse in person.  David saw several at different times.  He would run off after them screaming "dog" the entire time.  They are not afraid of horses.  They both got to pet a few.

David enjoyed exploring.  They climbed the hay mountain, then we took the trail to the indian campsite.  It was need how they had a few fires going and the way the trees covered it, it was warm and we were able to even take off our jackets.  David loved seeing the animal skins hanging and he REALLY wanted to touch them, so we had to keep a tight reign on him.

After the war reinactment, it was time for what we were there for.  Time for the pumpkin patch.

We got a few cute pictures in the actual patch, but they must be on Ranita's phone, so I will have to add them later.  We had our hands full.  David was asleep and I had him.  Ranita was carrying 4 pumpkins, Cynthia was carrying one and Kara had Victoria.  Thanks goodness their was a church group there that will take your pumpkins for a donation to the exit for you.  After getting our pumpkins, we picked a little cotton and went to the petting farm area.  By this time, we were getting tired, so we stopped by the stage area and listened to some music.  Then it was off to home.  We had a great time and decided this was something we wanted to do every year.
