Fall-My favorite time of year

I get so excited when fall gets here. Football games are back, crockpot meals are started again, festivals every weekendpumpkin patches and Halloween. It is just a fun time of the year. This year we went to two pumpkin patches. D and V seem to be facinated with pumpkins this year. You will see quite a varity of pumpkins in some of the pictures sitting outside our front door. They even painted a pumpkin at school. We went to the Grand Ole Pumpkin patch in Clanton with the English as a Second Language class. Ranita had to work, so it was just me and the babies. It was a fun day, but it rained on us and made it a little difficult to enjoy everything the patch had to offer. The 2nd pumpking patch we went to was Old Baker Farm. We have made it our family tradition to go on the Cotton Pickin' Celebration day. We had a great time. Kara went with us and her parents and nieces met us there. We had a great time. The 3rd pumpkin patch we went to was in a yard at a church in Alabaster. That was the first one we went to, because the twins were begging every day could we get a pumpking. They both picked out one they could carry and Ranita got one that he could carve at our Life Connection Pumpking Carving party.
Victoria was over looking for a pumpkin in the rain without daddy.

Ranita had a lot of "help" this year.

David did not want to be a part of the group picture

We also went to Boo at the Zoo. David wasn't real excited about the decorations, but he did love the Spooky train ride. We had Belle and the Beast with us. The beast did change into the prince by the end of night. They had a good time trick or treating and was ready for the candy before we made it out of that section.

This year was the first year that the preschool that they go to allowed the children to wear their costumes. I figured the Belle and Beast costume wouldn't be much fun for the entire day, so I made scarecrow costumes. They came home with a ton of candy and treats after school. We then went to mom and dad's neighborhood and got in a little trick or treating before the rain set in. They again were very excited about the candy. I am afraid that they like candy too much, but they haven't had any since that night.
