Playing photographer for a day

Today was a beautiful day.  My friend Stacey, Nancy, her twins and my twins went for a stroll at Aldridge Gardens.  Stacey and I made a little photo session for the babies to get some good 8 month old photos.  I can't wait to see Stacey's pictures.  Here are a few of mine.

Catching Up

So I am a little behind on my blogging.  We have celebrated my dad's birthday.  We went to the Helicopter Egg Drop, spent Easter at mom and dad's house with the family and fit in Ranita's soccer game.  There are a lot of pictures, but I had a hard time deciding what to put.  :)

The Easter Bunny came

Now we know why her bows have started disappearing

Trying to get a picture with our twin cousins in our new outfits from grandmommy and granddaddy.....Victoria is secure in Charity's arms. :)

David is thinking, "wow, I have one of these, but what is this thing on it?"

"I am done looking at you, do you see this basket of eggs overhere?"

My favorite one is......

Stacey helped us dye eggs.

Enjoying watching the helicopter drop the eggs

Wait, let me get my sunglasses on.

One last note.  I am reminded every morning, how blessed I am with these babies.  See, I get up 4 something every morning to get to work on time.  I get the babies up a little before 5.  They will be in a deep sleep and I pick them up and put them directly in their carseat to go to where ever they are staying for the day.  I am always amazed at the beautiful smiles that they give me while I am buckling their carseat.  They aren't mad that I woke them up.  They just give me some smiles and usually rub/pat my arm.  They are like that any time that I wake them up.  I am sure they didn't get that from me. :) And I have found when I get home from work, all they want is for me to be right there playing with them.  They give me lots of smiles and hugs.  I think of all the things that I need to be doing, but I have decided that I am going to sit right there on the floor and play with them, read to them and sing with them.  I know one day, they will be pushing me away.  So I am going to enjoy every second that I can with these two precious gifts from God.
